What is an Early Childhood System?

An early childhood system comprises a network of coordinated services designed to support the health, education, and development of young children ages 0 to 8. A system integrates various programs, including healthcare, education, nutrition, and family support, to deliver a comprehensive approach to child development. Crucially, this system includes strategic funding and accountability mechanisms. Sustainable investments ensure that resources are allocated efficiently and transparently, with data systems in place to measure impact and guide policy. This ensures that every child receives consistent, high-quality care and education.
